In summer many families from the upper district and the Vallès move to the Costa Brava, the Maresme or the Garraf, and either their staff travel with them or a seasonal reinforcement is hired at the coastal home. At Easter and in August we also select seasonal staff for those second homes.
On languages, Spanish is taken as given and Catalan comes up mainly for nannies, when the children are taught in Catalan and need help with homework: understanding it is usually enough, and speaking it is a plus we check in the interview.
