Nervión
An established residential district where families have lived in the same home for decades. The role that comes up most is a live-in carer for a parent who wants to stay in the flat they have always had, with the nights covered and company at hospital appointments.
Triana
Restored courtyard houses and penthouses overlooking the Guadalquivir. The large homes on Calle Betis and around Santa Ana are the ones that ask for a live-in housekeeper; elsewhere in the district the brief is usually a nanny who sleeps over when the parents are on call or travelling.

Seville's calendar: Holy Week, the Feria and summer on the coast
Seville runs on its own calendar, and it shapes household staffing. Between Holy Week and the Feria de Abril the house fills with guests, lunches are hosted and days run long: those weeks are part of the job and are best agreed in writing from the outset, with the rest days that make up for them afterwards.
In July and August, with the heat, a large share of families move to the Huelva or Cádiz coast: Matalascañas, Islantilla, Chipiona, Sanlúcar, Rota or Zahara. It is very common for the live-in housekeeper to travel with the family to the summer house; we select candidates who are happy to do so and set it out clearly in the contract, rest days included.
